What is SPBuilder?
SPBuilder is a stored procedure generator tool that generates procedures for CRUD (Create or Insert, Retriever or Select, Update and Delete) Operations, Paged Select, Primary Key-Foreign Key Procedure, etc… It supports Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 and MSDE databases. It reads a database schema, allows the user to set certain configurations for tables and columns, and generates stored procedures.

* Generates stored procedures with your choice of name by using prefix and operation name of your choice
* Generates different 18 types of procedure for a table based on column types
* Generates stored procedures to select rows from multiple tables based on primary key - foreign key relations

* Supports Windows authentication, SQL authentication, Custom Connection String
* Add suffix to update primary key procedure
* Following features can be added or removed by just checking or unchecking checkboxes

o Replace NULL by default value
o Return identity value if you wish, You have choice to return either SCOPE_IDENTITY() or @@Identity
o Stored procedure naming convention can be Table Name followed by Operation or Operation followed by Table Name
o Select parameters can be selected of your choice in multi table stored procedures by primary key – foreign key relations
o Sorting order can be set in multi table stored procedures by primary key – foreign key relations
